Hoarding Disorder Needs Treatment

According to statistics, 2 to 6 percent of adults have hoarding disorder. Although science hasn’t been the “hoarding gene” theory yet, this condition tends to run in families. People hoard for many reasons and one of them is sentimental attachment. These individuals feel that when they throw away their items, all memories are lost.

Although families of hoarders are tempted to do the cleaning themselves, doing this can cause emotional distress to the person. In order to help the hoarder understand his situation, seeking help from a professional is important. Experts recommend cognitive behavioral therapy in addressing this type of problem.

I am so impressed with the job that Gregg and Karen did for my aunt's home. Not only did they take the time to explain thorougly what they were going to do, but they did EXACTLY as they promised.

We never expected to get the sales price for the house that we ended up getting. If you had seen my aunt's home before they started, you would know why. By the time the job was done, the house looked totally transformed.

Needless to say... I highly recommend their services!
