How to Perform an Effective De-cluttering Project

Cleaning a hoarder’s home can be quite different from managing one that’s less extraordinary. For one thing, in the former, there are more stuff to deal with which could be messier and dirtier. Not to mention that emotional stress that the owner may go through due to the project.
Here are some tips when performing a clean-up in a hoarder’s home:
  • Make sure you don’t run out of trash bags, cardboard boxes and plastic bins. Organizing and de-cluttering can become trice as difficult without enough storage.
  • Take a slow approach on the task. This way, the hoarder won’t be subject to too much stress and anxiety about parting with his collections.
  • Start with one area and don’t go on to the next without finishing the former. Doing so will help you concentrate and organize better.

I am so impressed with the job that Gregg and Karen did for my aunt's home. Not only did they take the time to explain thorougly what they were going to do, but they did EXACTLY as they promised.

We never expected to get the sales price for the house that we ended up getting. If you had seen my aunt's home before they started, you would know why. By the time the job was done, the house looked totally transformed.

Needless to say... I highly recommend their services!
