Hoarding 101: Tips on How to Declutter

While many people equate material possessions with happiness, it can actually be considered a serious problem the moment it interferes with your day-to-day functioning. According to survey, serious hoarding problems are in fact present in at least one in 50 people. Famous Marie Kondo shares some tips on how to deal with your clutter.

  • Keep the items that bring your happiness but make sure to throw away those that you don’t need.
  • Break your books into categories if you have lots of books.
  • Start sorting your clothing, collectibles, photos and even old letters.
