54 Dogs Plus Birds and a Horse Rescued from Putnam House

Fifty-four dogs, four birds and a horse were rescued by the Putnam County Animal Control from a Kyte Road property owned by George Everett Murwin, 71, and Laura Jean Murwin, 57. The animals were found in deplorable conditions. One of the dogs was found dead with its head stuck in the wire panel of a dog crate, one of the birds had minimal feathers, and the hoarse had little water and hooves that had not been properly trimmed.

Putnam Country Animal Control is receiving community support in order to provide proper care for the rescued animals while they wait to be adopted to a better home.
The Murwins, on the other hand, could not be reached, and the two developmentally challenged adults who lived with them were relocated to the Stewart-Marchman-Act Behavioral Healthcare center in Palatka. The Sheriff’s Office investigation were sent to the 7th Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office, which will determine whether charges will be made against the property owners.

I am so impressed with the job that Gregg and Karen did for my aunt's home. Not only did they take the time to explain thorougly what they were going to do, but they did EXACTLY as they promised.

We never expected to get the sales price for the house that we ended up getting. If you had seen my aunt's home before they started, you would know why. By the time the job was done, the house looked totally transformed.

Needless to say... I highly recommend their services!
