One can only imagine what the home of an animal hoarder would be like. The person who would have to move in after all the animals have been vacated will be in for one crazy clean-up and repair nightmare. Imagine what it was like for Cole Eshleman, the owner of a home previously rented by an animal hoarder.
Eshleman tried to do the cleaning and repairing himself but ended up hurting himself doing so. Despite all the challenges Eschleman says he’s not giving up and has opted to hire a contractor despite it being pricey.
“It’s probably, I don’t know, a $120,000 house before she moved in, and if I knock it down, I lose $750 a month and $120,000,” says the landlord. “I’m kind of in a position where I’ve got to at least try or I lose everything.”
