Pennsylvania SPCA Humane Law Enforcement Officers rescued 240 cats from the Philadelphian home of a woman who called herself the “cat lady”. After being tipped by concerned citizens, the said authorities visited a licensed animal shelter called Animals in Crises run by the woman to find hundreds of cats in extremely poor living conditions.
The cats were transported to PSPCA headquarters on Erie Avenue for vet exams, treatment and shelter while the alleged animal hoarder will face charges that still depends on the outcome of the investigation.
