Dealing with Hoarders

Hoarding is a serious mental condition that requires professional help. According to Drew Williams-Clark, neighborhood services manage for Oak Park, one of the biggest challenges they are faced with is separating the hoarder from someone who has just a messy house. Below are ways on how Oak Park deals with hoarders.

–          If a hoarder is violating local laws, refer him to a mental health official.

–          Work with the owner or renter while taking into consideration the safety of the other tenants.

–          The property will be re-inspected and a fine may be imposed for non-compliance.

I am so impressed with the job that Gregg and Karen did for my aunt's home. Not only did they take the time to explain thorougly what they were going to do, but they did EXACTLY as they promised.

We never expected to get the sales price for the house that we ended up getting. If you had seen my aunt's home before they started, you would know why. By the time the job was done, the house looked totally transformed.

Needless to say... I highly recommend their services!
