Understanding and Helping a Hoarder Loved One

It is normal to hold on to things that we consider to have sentimental value. However, it is when things get out of control that it becomes necessary to take action because amassing a large number of possessions can make our homes very uncomfortable to live in.

People who find difficulty in letting go of belongings are often tagged as hoarders. When their condition is left untreated, it may lead to chronic hoarding, which consequently makes their houses unlivable.
Before making major decisions concerning a loved one’s belongings, be sure to first communicate with him and express your intention to offer him help. You should also consider some local help and support services for guidance.

I am so impressed with the job that Gregg and Karen did for my aunt's home. Not only did they take the time to explain thorougly what they were going to do, but they did EXACTLY as they promised.

We never expected to get the sales price for the house that we ended up getting. If you had seen my aunt's home before they started, you would know why. By the time the job was done, the house looked totally transformed.

Needless to say... I highly recommend their services!
