Woman Admitted to Hoarding Cats

Woman Admitted to Hoarding CatsA woman from Holland admitted to hoarding cats; she didn’t want to be identified but she did agree to tell her story.

She owned cats since 1995 but only a couple of them. When she went through divorce, she was into depression, which the neighbors believed to be the reason why she started hoarding cats. In recent years, the number of cats kept increasing.

A couple of months ago, she moved out of her mobile home because the infestation became out of control. She said she comes back to the house everyday to take care of the cats.

While FOX17 was at the woman’s house, the animal control pulled up. An officer went in with a hazmat suit to check the conditions.

Ottawa County sergeant Greg Rotman said, “[There were] a lot of feces around, a lot of fleas. Apparently the cats are covered in fleas.”

I am so impressed with the job that Gregg and Karen did for my aunt's home. Not only did they take the time to explain thorougly what they were going to do, but they did EXACTLY as they promised.

We never expected to get the sales price for the house that we ended up getting. If you had seen my aunt's home before they started, you would know why. By the time the job was done, the house looked totally transformed.

Needless to say... I highly recommend their services!
