Two Adults Face Charges, Minor Rescued from Hoarder Home

Given authorization by Health Inspector Robert Bracey, Newburyport police condemned a house at Strong Street on July 5, Sunday, and filed charges against its inhabitants, Kristen Paquette, 32, and Debra Paquette, 54. This is after an anonymous tipster voiced concern about a child who lived with the said adults.

The house was found in a terrible condition — furniture and a mass of other “stuff” blocked passage and walkways, and animal feces were scattered around the premises.
The child was placed under the care of a parent and is temporarily staying in a hotel, while the two adults will each be summoned to court to determine whether formal charges will be filed against them.
While the family is not allowed to go back to their house, the Department of Children and Families will be helping them find a new home.

I am so impressed with the job that Gregg and Karen did for my aunt's home. Not only did they take the time to explain thorougly what they were going to do, but they did EXACTLY as they promised.

We never expected to get the sales price for the house that we ended up getting. If you had seen my aunt's home before they started, you would know why. By the time the job was done, the house looked totally transformed.

Needless to say... I highly recommend their services!
