Talking About the Hazards of Hoarding

Talking About the Hazards of HoardingHoarding can be quite deadly. This fact was proven in Pekin, Illinois, when two were killed in a fire because they couldn’t be rescued due to all the items found inside their home.

Mona Brantley, a professional organizer, helps in breaking the habits of a hoarder. She says, “Oftentimes, they’re not letting their family members in and they’re not letting their friends in. So, it’s important for me to be able to come in and say ‘Ok, here are some safety issues.”

Barbara and Sam Garland, the two who were killed in the fire in Pekin last Sunday, were prevented from escaping their home and being rescued by the blocked doors of their burning house. The fire crews needed to bulldoze their way inside the Garland’s home.

I am so impressed with the job that Gregg and Karen did for my aunt's home. Not only did they take the time to explain thorougly what they were going to do, but they did EXACTLY as they promised.

We never expected to get the sales price for the house that we ended up getting. If you had seen my aunt's home before they started, you would know why. By the time the job was done, the house looked totally transformed.

Needless to say... I highly recommend their services!
