Police Helps Elderly Man Clean Up Home

Some people turn to hoarding without them realizing it. Jovo Skundric, 77, thought he’d sell the items he bought at a flea market, but they continued to pile up, and he ended up broke — that’s when officials decided he needed their help.

The North Miami Police, which volunteered to give him a hand in clearing his property, understood his condition and did their best to help him cope with the changes. They pointed out that other than the inconvenience, his stacked possessions also posed serious safety hazards.
