Hoarding Disorder Might be Included in Workplace Disabilities

Binge eating and hoarding disorders might be included in the newest list of recognized disabilities, according to the American Psychiatric Association. If approved, these disorders will be included for protections under the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act.

The revision of the DSM-5 for classifying various mental disorders was the first time since 1994. Experts believe this is integral to “reflect almost two decades of scientific advances and clinical experience.”

Accordingly, the researchers also noted that suicidal behaviors, non-suicidal self-injuries, internet addiction, and apathy disorders might also be added in the list; although more research is still necessary for them. Experts believe that majority of doctors and mental health professionals will firstly feel the impacts if the new conditions are approved and added. Furthermore, new employment lawsuits and regulations should also be taken into consideration if this inclusion happens.

I am so impressed with the job that Gregg and Karen did for my aunt's home. Not only did they take the time to explain thorougly what they were going to do, but they did EXACTLY as they promised.

We never expected to get the sales price for the house that we ended up getting. If you had seen my aunt's home before they started, you would know why. By the time the job was done, the house looked totally transformed.

Needless to say... I highly recommend their services!
