Grundy County Holding Therapy Sessions for Hoarders

Most people can’t understand what it is like to be a hoarder; however, hoarders and “normal” people do have one thing in common: they usually don’t understand how the behavior started in the first place. Such is the case of Belinda Coley of Minooka. In fact, aside from being physically active, she considered herself an “immaculate housekeeper”. This was a stark contrast to the hoarder she became.

To guide individuals like Belinda Coley on the road to recovery, Grundy County Health Department is offering a program to help hoarders. Melissa Wasko, a mental health therapist, handles therapy sessions called “Caged by Clutter”. The sessions are done weekly and also handled by therapists from the health department.

I am so impressed with the job that Gregg and Karen did for my aunt's home. Not only did they take the time to explain thorougly what they were going to do, but they did EXACTLY as they promised.

We never expected to get the sales price for the house that we ended up getting. If you had seen my aunt's home before they started, you would know why. By the time the job was done, the house looked totally transformed.

Needless to say... I highly recommend their services!
