Easy Fixes for Home Problems

Stop putting off your home’s needs, you may be paying the price much later on — an even higher one to be exact. In fact, these tasks may be easier and cheaper than you expected if you take care of them early on. So get your hands dirty and start with these Quick DIY Household Repairs:

  • For squeaky door hinges, spray a little WD-40 onto the hinges, moving the door back and forth to work in the lubricant.
  • Squeaky floors, on the other hand, can be temporarily remedied by sprinkling talcum powder into the cracks.
  • Combine equal amounts of cream of tartar and baking soda with enough lemon juice to make a paste to whiten a stained tub.
  • A little silicone spray lubricant will grease the skids of stubborn sliding windows.
  • To take care of scuffed linoleum, rub the spot with white toothpaste and a dry cloth or with an eraser

I am so impressed with the job that Gregg and Karen did for my aunt's home. Not only did they take the time to explain thorougly what they were going to do, but they did EXACTLY as they promised.

We never expected to get the sales price for the house that we ended up getting. If you had seen my aunt's home before they started, you would know why. By the time the job was done, the house looked totally transformed.

Needless to say... I highly recommend their services!
